Sam, a toddler of two years, takes his role in fostering kittens quite seriously. With the help of his family, he has already assisted 17 little felines in need of care. Lacey, a mother from California, began fostering kittens about six months ago, after her colleague at work suggested it to her.
Lacey, a self-proclaimed animal enthusiast, shared that she and her sisters grew up surrounded by animals, which is why they all developed a love for them. However, being busy with life, she found herself missing the company of furry friends and decided to expose her kids to the joy of being around animals as well. With only one cat at home, Lacey felt that it was not enough to fill the void. Thus, on June 1st, she took in her first litter of foster kittens from the Cat House On the Kings situated in Parlier, California. These kittens were older and required socialization, but Lacey knew it was the right decision. Looking back, she believes that fostering these adorable kittens was one of the best decisions she has ever made.
When her toddler, Sam, laid eyes on the kittens, his excitement was palpable. He quickly realized that they were just like their big, orange cat but miniaturized. Watching the kittens closely, he was surprisingly gentle as he reached out to pet them with a single finger. His mother was pleasantly surprised by his careful demeanor.
Lacey expressed that the child was eager to lend a helping hand, which she found remarkable. She also mentioned how children possess an inherent love for animals, but it requires nurturing to flourish. Since then, fostering has become a frequent family affair that everyone in the household relishes.
Whenever a new baby arrives, Sam can’t resist saying hello to them. He greets them as “little boo boos” and admires their cuteness and preciousness. He even tries to pet them through their carrier with his fingers. And when they respond positively, Sam gets excited and exclaims that they love him. One of his most enjoyable activities is snuggling up with kittens under a warm blanket. In the video, he’s seen grabbing a blanket and a kitty and sitting on a chair to get cozy. Sam also likes to give kittens lots of cuddles while wearing his shirt. It’s heartwarming to see how much love and attention he showers on these little kittens.
Sam is an amazing assistant who takes care of the tiny felines, feeding them, filling up their water supply, indulging in playtime and giving them all the love and affection they need. Although there is still room for improvement when it comes to managing the litter box. The kind-hearted lad has already played a significant role in fostering 17 adorable kittens, and the count continues to grow.
Sam has developed a fondness for fostering, often expressing to his mother his eagerness to aid all the kittens he sees at the adoption center. It’s evident that these tiny feline creatures have found a special place in his heart.
Lacey decides to take Sam to the Cat House on the Kings for some quality time with the feline residents. Sam is absolutely enamored with the cats and is more than happy to lend a helping hand. He even expresses his desire to adopt all of them if he could!
Let me tell you about my experience feeding the adorable rescue cats at the Cat House On the Kings! It was such a heartwarming moment that I just had to share it with all my friends.
