Life can be full of surprises and difficulties that can cause immense pain to people. One person from New York experienced this firsthand when he lost his son in an accident. The man believed that his life would come to a halt without his beloved child. However, he discovered solace by rescuing abandoned animals.
Meet the retired train conductor from Long Island, New York who has become a hero for over 300 saved cats. In 2006, he faced a tragic loss when his 24-year-old son passed away in a traffic accident. While wandering around his neighborhood, he came across more than 30 sick kittens and decided to help them all. That was the beginning of his incredible journey.
Chris has transformed his residence into a haven for cats and has no plans of discontinuing his noble cause. He officially named his safe haven for felines as Happy Cat.
Chris has rescued over 300 cats and plans to double that number in the near future. He firmly believes that these felines deserve a better life than living on the streets. At his sanctuary, the cats have plenty of space to wander around, as well as heated structures to keep them comfortable. Everything necessary for a luxurious life is provided.
We commend Chris for his choice and aspire that more people will be inspired by his actions and use their sorrow to create something positive.
