An adorable feline was discovered outside, but little did her rescuers know that she used to be a therapy cat. Since then, this furry friend has been doing everything in her power to grab everyone’s attention.
Meet Spice, the adorable tortie cat that Best Friends Felines rescued in Brisbane, Australia. This 8-year-old feline was in dire need of care when a kind-hearted individual found her outside, frail and alone. Surprisingly, Spice used to be a therapy cat that worked at a nursing home before she was taken into a new home. Unfortunately, she went missing shortly after settling in, only to be discovered by a lovely lady almost two months later. Fortunately, Best Friends Felines took Spice into their care, and she’s now receiving all the love and attention she deserves.
Best Friends Felines reported that when the owners were contacted, they declined to take Spice back. Fortunately, a compassionate individual found Spice and refused to leave her stranded. This kind person brought Spice to the vet and got her on antibiotics to treat her illness. Despite the situation, Spice’s savior did not ignore her plight and ultimately saved her life. It’s unfortunate to see a cat who once gave so much as a therapy pet be left homeless and unwanted, but it’s heartwarming to know that there are still people who care.
