After leaving the shelter, the kitten quickly returned to his playful and curious self. He now has a feline companion to admire and learn from.

@otowncats reached out to Little Wanderers NYC regarding a young kitten that was left orphaned and brought into a shelter within the city. This six-week-old kitten had a congenital condition called cerebellar hypoplasia which caused a wobbly gait. Even with this condition, the kitten was healthy and not experiencing any discomfort. However, to help the kitten flourish, a home environment was necessary. Fortunately, Ashley, a volunteer for the rescue, came forward to provide the kitten with a home. Upon arriving at the shelter to collect the kitten, Ashley was surprised to find that the kitten looked like a miniature version of her own cat named Laser.

The story goes that when Ashley first took Figaro in, she was told that he couldn’t eat on his own and needed to be syringe-fed. However, after settling into his new home, Figaro surprised everyone with his ravenous appetite for pate. Though he can now eat solids by mouth, he still needs help with liquids via a syringe. But despite being unsteady on his feet, Figaro doesn’t seem to notice or care – he just wants to eat, relax, and snuggle up close.

@otowncats shared that Figaro, a kitten, was in high spirits after having a satisfying meal. Despite a few falls while discovering his surroundings, he bounced back up and continued playing. It was evident that his physical condition didn’t hinder his love for playtime.

Laser, the resident cat of Ashley, got curious when he heard some noise coming from the foster room. As soon as they were introduced, Laser gave the young kitten a warm welcome with a couple of nose boops. The kitten was thrilled to have found a new companion to play and run around with.

At @otowncats, Laser, the household cat, was caught on camera giving a sweet nose kiss to a tiny kitten. Although Laser may have been unsure about how to interact with the little one at first, he didn’t hesitate to clean him up and provide some much-needed attention whenever the kitten was brought over by Ashley. Figaro, the lucky recipient of Laser’s love and care, couldn’t help but melt in his presence.

The feline known as Laser has found a helpful way to maintain his hygiene thanks to his kitten companion. Despite being a playful ball of energy, the kitten enjoys moments of affection and can often be seen cuddling with Laser. Although the two friends engage in wrestling matches, Laser seems to enjoy them. The energetic kitten loves to explore his surroundings and plays with toys until he exhausts himself. His antics keep Laser entertained and on high alert.

Watching the playful antics of Figaro and Laserboy is a delight for @otowncats followers. Laserboy takes on the role of a gentle guide as Figaro bounces around with endless energy. It’s clear that they have a bond of mutual admiration and enjoyment. Figaro looks up to Laserboy as an older brother figure and appreciates his calming presence. It’s heartwarming to witness such a sweet friendship between these two felines.
