A homeless feline transformed into a cuddly companion and accompanied its owner wherever they went. The owner fondly referred to the cat as their “Prince Charming!”
Larry the cat was discovered wandering as a stray in a rough and unkempt state outside. The Exploits Valley SPCA found him and noted that his physical condition suggested he had been on his own for quite some time. His nose, ears, and paw pads were badly frostbitten. At the time of his discovery, Larry was estimated to be between one and two years old. Despite his difficult circumstances, he was exceedingly friendly towards everyone he met, almost as though he was trying to make up for lost time. He was thrilled to have a cozy bed to snuggle up in and people to keep him company. He quickly began dispensing cuddles to anyone who spent time with him. However, the SPCA soon realized that there was something unique about him.
Larry’s rough edges suggested that he was a stray. Despite that, he appeared to be happy and content, but his walking gait and breathing were not normal. The vet’s examination revealed that there was no heartbeat. Upon closer inspection, they discovered that Larry had a ruptured diaphragm which caused some of his organs to displace.
The SPCA in Exploits Valley recounted the story of Larry, a dog whose condition remained a mystery. Even though it was unclear how he got sick or when he would pass away, Larry lived his life to the fullest and loved spending time with his companions. Despite his uncertain fate, his amusing personality brought happiness to many.
The Exploits Valley SPCA had a special furry friend named Larry who loved spending time with the volunteers. Whenever he was around them, he would knead away and even purr while standing still. Unfortunately, the shelter environment was too stressful for him, and he needed someone who would give him a chance. Luckily, he found that person, and now he is at his best when he is with people who love him.
