Janelle Brown, one of the stars of TLC’s “Sister Wives,” recently opened up about her relationship with ex-husband Kody Brown and some of her former sister wives in an interview with People. She described her current relationship with Kody as “superficial,” stating that they are no longer in a relationship and that they are “very polite” to each other, along with Kody’s current wife Robyn Brown and his other ex-partner Meri. Janelle also revealed that she might have stayed in her marriage if Christine hadn’t left Kody first. Janelle and Kody share six biological children together.
Janelle Brown from “Sister Wives” recently shared that when their kids were younger, she, Meri, Christine, and Kody dreamed of living in one house and raising their children as siblings. However, the family outgrew this idea, and when they moved to Las Vegas in 2011, they had to get separate homes. In a recent interview, Janelle revealed that if Christine had stayed with them, she might have stayed with Kody too, as she still considers Christine a sister wife. However, Christine’s departure was “heartbreaking,” leaving the family to deal with its identity crisis. The show’s upcoming season will feature Janelle’s marriage to Kody falling apart after a big fight in December 2021. Despite this, Janelle hasn’t ruled out the possibility of considering a plural marriage again because it provided her with freedom. Although neither Janelle nor Christine believe any of Kody’s 18 kids will live in a polygamous lifestyle, fans can catch “Sister Wives” season 18 on TLC on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET.
