On a freezing winter night, a helpless little puppy lay in the snow, just hours away from death. It was a January evening in England when a small bulldog puppy was found buried in the freezing snow on a street. While some lucky dogs were snuggled up with their owners, enjoying warm meals and comfortable beds, this poor little pup was left to fend for itself in the frigid winter weather.

Unfortunately, Draper, the dog, was born with a malformation that left him with only three legs. This abnormality caused his owners to despise him, and they made the cruel decision to leave him on the street in the snow to fend for himself. The bitter cold of the night was relentless, and poor Draper suffered for hours until a kind-hearted stranger stumbled upon him buried in the snow. The concerned individual was shocked at the newborn’s condition and couldn’t fathom who could have abandoned him in such a cruel manner. However, saving the defenseless pup was their top priority.

Quickly alerting the local animal rescue team, they came to the scene and took charge of Draper’s safety. Although he had been through unimaginable distress, this beautiful pup’s name was Draper, and he was now in good hands at a secure location.

For a full day, they placed him under a heat source to regulate his blood temperature. His front leg was frequently cleaned and bandages were changed hourly. Without their help, Draper wouldn’t have made it through the following day.
Thankfully, the dog pulled through and recovered quickly. Despite his limitations, Draper was a joyful pup who loved playing with other dogs. He has since regained his health and is now up for adoption as a happy and healthy young dog.
