It can be difficult for any pet to cope with rejection from the animals they hold dear, and this is why a frightened pit bull decided to stay in a box of plums that was discovered by detectives on the day it was rescued. The small cardboard container was the only object that retained the scent of the dog’s previous home, and he knew that he could not return after leaving it behind.

Despite their appearance and occasional grumpiness, this particular breed of dog has a heart full of youthful innocence despite their large size. It was evident from a distance that his former family had neglected him as his bony hips were visible to the officers who found and rescued him.

The pit bull was found hiding amongst a box of plums and refused to leave when authorities attempted to coax it out. The dog’s attachment to his previous owners was evident, as the pit bull wouldn’t abandon the last connection he had to them. He held onto hope that they would return for him. Eventually, the police were forced to enlist the help of another dog to encourage the pit bull to exit the box. The pit bull was later taken to an animal welfare office shelter for care.

The entire household was moved by the melancholy expression on the pit bull’s face. Despite having suffered from abandonment and potential mistreatment, it appeared that the dog’s biggest source of trauma was the fact that he had been left behind.

In no time, the shelter personnel’s affection and attention worked wonders on the bull. Gradually, the once-scared animal started coming out of its shell and even managed to get up from the crate filled with plums it was previously rescued in.

After a quick tour of the shelter, the staff provided food for the pitbull and made him feel at ease. Although they could tell that the dog had gone through a rough time, the guys were determined to help him move on and begin a fresh chapter of his life.

The pitbull was in dire need of happiness, prompting the sharing of his story on various social media platforms. It was a relief to discover that many individuals were receptive to the situation. Volunteers sifted through several profiles and eventually stumbled upon an application from a family that they were certain would be the perfect fit for the pooch.

Plum, the adorable pit bull, was given a new identity when he found a loving human and a new partner for adventures. Interestingly, Plum’s resemblance to his human brother is so striking that they could easily pass off as biological siblings.

Initially, the staff at the shelter had some doubts, but after a series of discussions, they became convinced that the boys would have an excellent rapport.
