Pax, the 13-year-old Labrador retriever, and his family didn’t have any plans to adopt a new cat. However, fate had something else in store for them. One day, a little kitten caught their attention and snuck into their home, finding the safe haven that she had been looking for all her life. Morgan, Pax’s mother, heard the kitten’s meows coming from the trees behind her farm and one of their cats went up to where the kitten was crying and sniffed her out.

Morgan made the decision to bring home a cat that was alone and in need, affectionately named Polly. To make her feel comfortable, they provided her with a warm and inviting bed. Polly was desperate for someone to care for her, so Morgan began feeding her with a bottle, which she seemed to enjoy throughout the day.

Morgan went on to say, “I couldn’t see a thing because of my blindness and being covered in fleas. Meanwhile, Pax had taken a liking to her right from the beginning.”

After a refreshing shower, Pax had the chance to meet Polly and they developed an exceptional bond that was unlike anything else.

Without any hesitation, the little feline cozied up beside Pax for a long snooze, enjoying a peaceful and restful night. During mealtime, Pax stayed watchful, waiting for Polly to finish her food before grooming her and then eating together.

Sweet Polly developed a fondness for her newfound companion in no time, and soon enough, she would trail behind him everywhere he went around the house. It was almost like she had imitated the behavior of a dog since she was basically maturing under the guidance and tutelage of Pax.

According to Morgan, when Polly first arrived, the other cats in the house kept their distance from her. This left only Morgan and her husband, Pax, to interact with Polly. Over time, Polly and Pax formed a close bond and became inseparable partners. As Polly grew older, their bond only grew stronger, and their deep connection was evident in everything they did together.

Usually, the older dog will allow the kitten to sleep in his bed and play with her toys. Pax has even become a mentor to Polly, teaching her various dog tricks and being tolerant of her mischievous behavior. According to Morgan, Pax likes to jump high and run incredibly fast.

Whenever Pax goes out for a walk, Polly patiently waits by the door until her buddy comes back. If Pax takes too long, Polly “barks” at him, reminding him that she’s waiting and he should hurry back. Polly believes that her ability to understand canine behavior is due to Pax’s influence on her. She thinks of herself as a cat with a dog’s instincts, all thanks to her dear friend Pax.

You can often spot them in the early hours of the day, lounging by the front door and admiring the beautiful surroundings while basking in the warmth of the sun. Their togetherness is a constant sight as they relish every moment spent with each other, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

When Frisbee was first found, he was in a sorry state – his fur was covered in dirt and grime, he was malnourished, and he seemed absolutely terrified. The rescuers had a tough time catching him too, which meant that they had to set up some traps to keep him from running away. Eventually, they were able to get him to a safe place where he could receive the care he needed. Thankfully, the Merrimack Feline Rescue Society was there to lend a helping hand. They shared that Frisbee was discovered outside, with fur that was matted worse than they had ever seen, and he was severely underfed. As part of the Trap-Castration-Return initiative, Frisbee was rescued and it was determined that he was friendly, though he was suffering from dental problems that needed immediate attention.

Frisbee, the dog, had a tough life with his tangled and torn hair that caused him so much discomfort that he couldn’t walk properly. It was sad to see him in such a state. But fortunately, there was some good news too. Although his coat was a mess, he didn’t have any broken bones, which made it easier for him to recover. The kind-hearted people at the shelter took him in and immediately gave him a haircut to get rid of all the mats and knots in his fur. They also tended to his dental health, making sure he was comfortable and well-cared for.

The adorable feline had an affectionate nature that made him yield to the loving hands of his caretakers. He expressed his gratitude and happiness by purring and snuggling up to them. Frisbee’s transformation from a dirty and lonely cat to a clean and contented one was remarkable after just one wash.
The kitty received all the necessary care to recover his health, and his progress was gradual but steady. Within a few weeks, he was fully prepared for adoption.

Surprisingly, Frisbee was adopted much quicker than expected by his rescuers. The rescue squad happily shared the news with their contacts, stating that Frisbee had already found a home where he is loved.

After receiving the necessary care and attention, Frisbee’s fur has regained its healthy and shiny appearance. He has also found his favorite spot to relax – a comfortable chair that he loves. Now, Frisbee lives a pleasant and luxurious life where he doesn’t have to worry about anything.
